I know you didnt mean 2 offend but please know that it’s not good to stereotype a way to dress by gender !!! It’s just clothing! I am just going to wear what I like, which I’ve been doing for awhile ! Lately I’ve been into night gowns, hospital scrubs, and sports jerseys! Prob gonna wear the same old sweaters, collared shirts, and rain coats once it’s colder! Nothing specific !!! The idea of being genderfluid to me includes not putting any limitations or seeing anything as an attachment to a certain gender! No stereotypes and just being free as a human, no masculinity or femininity. Although masculinity is generally sickening to me in most ways
michael is by far the best member to have as your fav bc like he never gets in trouble or goes out and parties and he’s just an antisocial lump of giggles and sunshine and wow i wish i was a michael girl rn
one of my roommates used to work with 5th graders in a creative writing class thing and they had to write a romance and most of the kids wrote stories about princesses and crap but this one little girl wrote about how a marshmallow fell in love with a mug of cocoa and he loved the cocoa so much that in order to be with her he melted and died like wow kid that’s some shakespearian shit right there
What’s the worst thing I’ve stolen?
Probably little pieces of other people’s lives. Where I’ve either wasted their time or hurt them in some way. That’s the worst thing you can steal, the time of other people. You just can’t get that back.
i just really want some friends right now who are ready to do some complete teenage cliché indie bullshit with me for at least a week like, driving an old car singing loudly to alternative 90′s music, stopping at cheap gas stations to get food in the middle of the night and take pics under the neon signs, visit a museum and take pictures of each other with the art, spend the day in one of our garages or basements filled with some band equipment and record our lame jams, sit outside on the bleachers and watch the sun go down, throw a quick last minute party in someone’s house when their parents aren’t home with red plastic cups and trashy music, sit on a roof and watch the stars, kiss boys and girls, just go somewhere without a plan and see where we’ll end up
native, latina, and black girls have been pushing boundaries and trends with what little monetary means we have for as long as the collective american fashion memory exists; it’s been us who have been making and wearing jewelry considered gaudy, cheap, and obnoxious, it’s been us making fashion statements our of dollar tube tops and high waisted leggings, it’s been us doing our hair tight or big, we are the origin of resourcefulness, girls on reservations and in the poorest neighborhoods were drawing on their beauty marks and getting glossy long before girls on instagram, we are queens of the dollar store and beauty shop, and it astounds me that not only are these looks being taken without a nod to the source, they are being put at designer price points. meanwhile we’re still out here doing our highlighter with two dollar shimmer eye shadow and scrubbing thrifted white adidas shoes clean with plastic toothbrushes, and we’re looking great
I want Maple’s life

artist tips
don’t save as jpeg
as a former yearbook editor and designer, let me explain this further
if youre only planning on posting your art online, them please save it as .png ;this is also better for transparencies as well
BUT
please, if youre planning of printing your art, NEVER use png. it makes the quality of the image pretty shitty. use jpeg or pdf instead. and always set your work at 300dpi to get a better printing quality - this means, the images are crisper and sharper and theres no slight blurriness. i had a talk with my friend who is currently taking design, and pdf is much better to use when youre working with a bigger publishing company because it still has the layers intact, but if youre only planning on printing your stuff at staples or at some small publishing store, the jpeg is the way to go.
this has been a public service announcement
- me: spends years practicing art and diffrent drawing techniques
- me: spends hundreds of dollars on high quality art supplies and art classes
- me: draws a penis on my desk with a sharpie
- me: lol...it's a wee wee
